Can individuals attend the Breakfast without sponsoring?
Yes! Individual seats can be purchased for the Minority Legislative Breakfast. The registrant is the primary contact for coordination of payment. For individuals, this is expected to be the same person, but you can indicate a different name in the Company field or email us after registering with the name. For sponsors, the names of those attending are the ten fields allotted for your guest list.
Does the registrant name have to be the name of the person who attends?
No. The registrant is the primary contact for coordination of payment. For individuals, this is expected to be the same person, but you can indicate a different name in the Company field or email us after registering with the name. For sponsors, the names of those attending are the ten fields allotted for your guest list.
Do I need to know all 10 of my guests when I sign up for sponsorship?
No! Sponsors should register as soon as possible to maximize their exposure as supporters of the Breakfast; it’s one of the intrinsic benefits of being an organization that thinks ahead and has a thought-out public relations strategy. Simply add as many guest names as you do know will be in attendance in your guest list. You can always email us with additions and changes later.
Why do you need to know the names of sponsor guests? Can’t we just pay and go?
Because most people check-in at a business event by providing their name, it makes it speedier and easier to check-in and grab that first cup of coffee if we have all the names of the attendees. It also improves security to know exactly who is a guest from each organization and discourages crashers. Additionally, we print badges for every attendee to wear to promote recognition and help people to greet each other.
I want to pay with a credit card, but I don’t want to sign up for an account.
Not a problem! When you register, you can select the option to pay with a credit card, then follow the link to pay with Paypal. You do not need an account to pay with Paypal. Just read past the login tab to the tab that says Pay with debit or credit card (If you don’t have a PayPal account) and follow the instructions. PayPal accepts payments from all Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express cards, as well as some other localized payment types. The nicest part of paying online is that you receive immediate email confirmation of your payment, versus having to wait for payment confirmation for a check.
We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit public charity and should like to participate in this event. What kind of costs are there regarding sponsorship?
As a 501(c)3 or similar community-based service organization serving the local area, you are eligible to sponsor the event as a Community Organization, which is offered at an affordable price because we understand service organizations traditionally have a tighter budget. However, you can sponsor at any level you wish; all levels include program mention and a table for 10 in your organization’s name along with 10 tickets to attend.
How much are the individual tickets?
Individual ticket purchase details can be found on the Register page. Breakfast and parking is included.
For 2010, tickets are $50; there is a $45 Early Bird price for online payments until December 10th.
